Thanksgiving - A time to sit down and remember all the things we are grateful for, like family, friends, our life and the things around us. We should never take anything for granted and always should make sure to let our love ones know that we love and care for them.
We all know Family is very important, and in TKC, we are a family. The Kitties' Club, to me, is like a big house with a huge group of loving, caring, daft nutters! (MOL) Every single member of that family is very important to me and I love being apart of that home . . . .Okay, I'm getting emotional now. . . .This year, I watched the members of TKC become that wonderful family! Just look back at everything we've all been through this year and all the wonderful memories we created together.
I'm grateful for having such a wonderful group of cats who I am honored to call as my friends. Thank you all for being apart of my life.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Bless you all,
~Twixy

this is my first thanksgiving with-out my family. I don't know what thanksgiving is like at the rainbow bridge. but I remember when mom cooked thanksgiving dinner. I would walk around with my nose up in the air. The house smelled so good. I always got a piece of turkey.

1....I can draw a cartoon about it
2....It gives me a theme to work off
3...We don't, we are silly Kiwi"s (New Zealanders)
My hooman did get to celebrate it one year, she was in the Airforce working down in the Antartic. She was stationed at Mc Murdo which is an American base. What a nice feed. Just as well we don't celebrate it, she would get tooo fat, as she gains enough weight over Xmas. MOL.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way, as it does sounds like a good reason to celebrate.

What does Thanksgiving mean to you?
Thanksgiving is my favoritest holiday of the year. It means thanking my humans for the excellent service they provide, taking care of me and maintaining my palace, the Cat Mahal, and, more importantly, it means letting them thank me for having adopted them and for giving them the feline supervision they need to live orderly and productive lives.
What's your favorite things about Thanksgiving?
Since it's a long holiday weekend, there is extra time to spend with my humans and, since the weather is usually cold, they stay inside and watch movies or sit in front of the fireplace. I get to snuggle with them and get lots of extra attention, which is very nice!
How do you celebrate Thanksgiving with your family?
See above! Oh, there is always special food for me to try. I don't always like it, but I appreciate the opportunity to find out--MOL!

What does Thanksgiving mean to you?
A day to spend special time with family and friends, remembering everything that we are grateful for and give thanks for all the blessings in our life. I'm blessed with two families -My family here at home and my family in TKC.
What's your favorite things about Thanksgiving?
The excitement of seeing my humans rush around the kitchen like crazy people and the yummy smell that fills the house ...Mmmmmm....
How do you celebrate Thanksgiving with your family?
Well, we actually have Thanksgiving pretty early in our home. Mom's dad usually puts the Turkey in the oven around 9-10am. While they wait for that to cook, the family sits down and watches the Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV --That looks pretty fun with all those neat floats and music.
Then the craziness starts (MOL). The Potatoes have to be mashed, the Rolls are put into the oven, Marshmallows are added to the Yams, the Vegetables are warmed up, Pumpkin pies are put on, Cranberry Sauce is poured into a bowl, Turkey Stuffing gets prepared and heated up, Turkey gets sliced and Apple Cider is poured ...Is your head spinning yet?! ROFL!!
After the eating and cleaning up, the family usually watches a movie or play a game - Which is one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving.

Gathering together with family and loved ones, even very close friends and their families when you're not able to be with your own family.
